"Jam bands, classic rock, and just a little bluegrass. Music with a laid back feel. Anything to make your Wednesday nights far out."

The Jam Band Geniuses Speak Out:

What do you think about the old sound that many new bands are trying to create?
Harvey: I think that they're entertaining, but a lot of those bands focus more on the sound and not on the meaning behind a lot of classic songs. The meaning is what makes them memorable.
Jackson: There is a simple answer to why so many contemporary artist cover bands from the "classic rock" period, the artists of that time were great songwriters and extremely innovative. I do not always approve of covers (thus the "Thanks for Ruining that Song" segment, but on rare occasion contemporary artists can re-create songs, and give them another chance to be great.

If you could go to one concert from the past, what would it be?
Harvey: Bowie
Jackson: I would sell my soul to see Jimi Hendrix play live.

What's the best part about hosting this show?
Harvey: Two hours of fantastic music and the best co-hosts ever.
Jackson:
Being able to program great songs that everybody enjoys and respects, and then get to put my two cents in. Also getting the chance to play the lesser known songs by classic artists.
